When we lived next door to a chestnut farm in the Canberra region, we’d roast kilos every year. I’d even slice and freeze them so we could enjoy them straight from the oven anytime.
Kids love them, they are so nutritious and they’re so simple to prepare:
🌰 Slice into the top from one side to the other side
🌰 Roast at 200 – 220°C for 30–35 mins
🌰 Eat warm and enjoy!
